NAS Fundraising in the Local Community

On the 18th December 2015 NAS held a Christmas jumper day to raise money for the charity Ty Hafan, which provides care and support at their hospice for life-limited children in Wales. The colourful knitwear on display certainly brightened up the office as well as raising money for a good local cause.

NAS also used a communal Christmas card to raise money for the charity, allowing staff to donate and write their Christmas messages there rather than sending out individual cards. In total, £125 was raised for Ty Hafan.

NAS staff held other events during 2015 to raise money for Ty Hafan, including various events organised by the apprentices that raised over £1500. You can read more about their fundraising efforts in the article NAS Apprentices Raise Money for Ty Hafan. ‘Jeans Friday’ was also held on various days throughout the year, encouraging staff to wear their jeans to work and donate to the charity.

NAS hopes to continue its fundraising efforts in 2016.
